Jiraffe will open a magi card shop in the Kyoto Station area in late October 2026, buying and selling cards including Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG and One Piece. The company says it is expanding magi stores across major cities in Japan.
Jiraffe, which runs the magi marketplace app and magi card shops, appointed Go Kobayashi as executive officer and COO on August 1, 2026. He will lead the magi30 project, which aims to grow the chain from 18 to 30 stores in Japan by summer 2027.
Jiraffe started the magi30 project to expand its magi trading card shops in Japan from 18 to 30 stores by summer 2027, mainly near major stations, and is seeking store sites. It expects revenue above 13 billion yen for the year to July 2026.
