Cardmarket's October recap reports eight card games added at once as sealed-only listings, bringing it to 25 active games, an upgraded card search, and over 4,800 new catalog products from sixteen games in the month.
Magic rose 34% from $459.4 million, driven by The Hobbit and Reality Fracture, and Wizards' segment operating profit grew 46% to $367 million. Hasbro's Q3 sales rose 15% to $1,595 million; it raised full-year guidance but expects lower Magic sales in Q4.
Wizards of the Coast cites production and shipping problems: Magic's Star Trek Commander Decks may miss their November 13 North America release, and the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle slips past October 23 worldwide. Card Kingdom holds orders with Star Trek items until they arrive.
